:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

hi @Admin,

I did this: "add your Excel extensions to Tools | Customize File Associations... and open them with Excel from there. Double-click will work."

But unfortunately double click or "open" from context menu still opens Excel files with wrong DPI settings. I am not sure what you mean by "open them with Excel from there" - from where?

1) Also if this is ticked: Configuration | Other | Shell Integration | 64-bit Windows | Open files from 64-bit process

2) What exactly were you referring to when you said:
opening by "Open With" / Excel / Always -> correct DPI settings

yes, this is ticked
what do you mean by opening by "Open With" / Excel / Always -> correct DPI settings
I select an Excel file, choose "Open With" from the context menu, Excel is default and appears as the top candidate in the selection of apps, and I hit the "Always* button.
