Hi community and Merry Christmas to everyone
(and happy 380th anniversary to Isaac Newton, too ;-)
Could someonne tell me how to scroll through a directory full of images thumbnails (mouse roll) without triggering the image preview feature or the image preview resize feature ?
The preview is useful when I want to specifically view an image but annoying when I just want to navigate through the thumbnails
I can get it by positionning the mouse cursor on the right of the window, but this is not "comfortable".
I would like to be able to scroll trough the images with my moise pointer positioned anywhere in the thumbnails.
Maybe by some alt/ctrl/shift keyboard pressing while scrolling ?
Sorry to ask if the funtion already exists .. XYplorer is so full of features..
Thanks in advance
Best regards,
L

It's hard to tell what preview you're referring to. Are you asking about the Hover Box preview or the Preview Panel? If you are talking about the Hover Box, you can elect not to show Hover Box in thumbnail views. My thought is, who needs the Hover Box when in thumbnail views when all you need to do is click on the thumbnail for MDBU. If this is the case, go to Tools > Configuration > File Info Tips and Hover Box > Show Hover Box > Select Context. Show Hover Box is probably already selected; keep it selected, but under Select context, unselect Tiles and Thumbnails. Of course, you can also remove the Preview Panel whenever you'd like as well if that's the case. Why bother with Preview Panel taking up real estate when in thumbnail views when you have MDBU. All a matter of taste and personal preference.

In the end, it makes what I want, just in another way :
pressing shift to allow preview, instead of pressing some other key or combination to prevent it.
Thank you !
