Hi! I don't know if this is a bug or not, so I'm putting it down as a wish.
Up until a couple betas ago, when I middle-clicked on a document in XYplorer, a small preview window appeared letting me peek at its contents, and then, middle-clicking outside that window made it close. This was a very fast way to work with these documents.
Now, middle-clicking outside the small window doesn't close it anymore, and I need to chase the X at the top right in order to do it, or hit the Escape key.
Not a showstopper by any means, but I'd like this feature to work the same way as before, if possible.
Thanks!

Not sure what you are describing exactly, but you could try setting this tweak, it should revert recent changes that may be affecting the behavior in your scenario.

Yes, that was it! At least, I think it was. I looked for that tweat and it's very recent so it would explain the change in behaviour. I changed it and now the middle click works as before.
Thank you!
Thank you!

I guess placebos really do work.

What do you mean? That setting does nothing? But it did solve the problem in my case. I swear!
EDIT: I reverted the setting to 0 out of curiosity, and the undesired behaviour is back. I re-reverted it, and it got corrected. So it's not a placebo.

It wasn't about you. It was a reference to another thread... search "placebo" and you'll find it.
