I think that would do the job, define an overall ignore pattern for copy and delete operations.

Re: Sync folders more options
So, should it be controlled by this new flag:
8 = On reverse direction (target > source) also reverse any filters
or just work when the "r" switch is passed?
(I'd say the latter.)

Re: Sync folders more options
No, it does not overrule, it is added to the filter you pass via parameter.

Re: Sync folders more options
As for the reverse filter request, I have to decline it for now. Just no time to think through all the consequences.

OK. Lack of time is something I'm surely an expert in.
Re: Sync folders more options
hi, sorry to bring this back again, through the time that has passed, I haven't been able to open this search dialog on any computer on which I've used even freshly installed XY (total count 4 computers ranging winxp, win10, win11).
On some of the text dialogues ctrl+F works but on most of them it does not. Specifically Sync Folders (Full report), Custom Copy (Full report) etc.. It works in Text Previewer for example (so I at least know how it looks )
It would really be convenient to have text search on any "report" related dialogues.
Re: Sync folders more options
Like you can have Find dialogue opened as in screenshot?
Nothing happens when I hit ctrl+f here
could it be like language specific, keyboard layout thing? I've seen it in other programs. But here it does not work even with ENG layout.

Re: Sync folders more options
Hm, looks like it does not work with background operations. Could you check with a foreground operation (see Configuration | File Operations | File Operations | Background Processing | Enable background processing)?

Re: Sync folders more options
aha!!
yep, that's it. With foreground operation it does display Find Text.

Unfortunately, the Find dialog will not work for background operations for now.

ok, no problem, at least it works for foreground so I can switch to it when I need to.
Thanks!
