1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)

3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

but UI shows only:

Workaround: the checkmark shown.

If I understand what you mean, the Help file is correct but there may be confusion around the fact that the wording is different. "Show Folder Sizes" in your first screenshot equals what is enabled (checked) in your second screenshot - "Always show folder sizes".
