Visual Filter / Live Filter Box with NOT ! with & as filter

Specifically in the Live Filter Box seeking to return only files which contain "&" ampersand.

LFB>> &

Returns the correct set.

HOWEVER, using NOT or ! returns a null set when it should be everything except having an ampersand.

LFB>> !& = null set, which would be incorrect as there are many. Have used:
LFB>> !\& = null set
LFB>> NOT & = null set
LFB>> NOT \& = null set

have you set Configuration>Filters & Type Ahead Find>Live Filter Box>Enable Extended Pattern Matching

I'm also running into some unexpected Live-Filter issues so this might be related, maybe not, but as of v23.70.0200, the Configuration|Tabs and Panes|Dual Pane|Tab Key|Tab between both panes only is not being respected on startup.

When first starting XY, the tab key will cycle through everything (Both panes and Live Filter Box) as if is Tab through everything is enabled.

I need to open the configuration, change the dropdown to something else, change it back, and then hit apply. Saving the settings does nothing, it will happen again on the next startup. The .ini reads

TabKeyPanes=2

for the setting.

have you set Configuration>Filters & Type Ahead Find>Live Filter Box>Enable Extended Pattern Matching
