Custom Colors for Pane and Tree (Dark Mode)

I'm not sure if this is a bug. I could simply be missing something in the settings.

I've used custom colors for the tree and panes background (red, yellow, green) with Dark Mode for several years now. It's worked great except for about the last month or so. With a custom color set for both, the inactive pane is grey and the tree background is almost black. It first happened on a Win11 system, so I figured that was a Windows issue. Just updated to the latest version on my main Windows 10 PC, and the same thing is happening.

Is there some new setting I've missing?

Hmm, I'm not aware of a change that could explain this.

1) What was the last version that worked alright? (Old versions can be found here: https://www.xyplorer.com/freezer.php)

2) Can you give me the three colors in RRGGBB, or provide a screenshot in light mode?

I'm pretty sure I first noticed it on the Win11 system with v23.20.0100.

Screenshots are from another system running in both light and dark mode running v23.50.0000. All the panes look fine, except for the tree. It's background should be green (CCFFCC) but it is a light grey. The issue is the same in both light and dark modes.

That was it. How embarrassing.

Any idea what would cause the pane color issue?

That was actually a bug fix. A locked tree ignores the color you have chosen and is just grey.

Sorry to bump my slightly old thread.

So over the weekend, I decided to make the jump to Win 11. Now, it seems XYP doesn't use any of the custom colors I've set. Both the tree and list are black or just some shade of gray regardless (when used in dark mode) of any custom color settings. Seems to be an issue even when dark mode is disabled, as the colors don't fully work even in light mode.

Any ideas?

You mean the unlocked tree does not honor your custom color?
