:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

SC zip_extract anomaly

Post by jupe »

I noticed that when WinRAR/7z is used as extractor and a single item filename with spaces is passed it needs to be quoted, (when more than 1 filename is passed it is ok unquoted though), but when using default ZipFldr instead, it fails when single items are quoted. Optimal solution would be no quotes req.

Code: Select all

 zip_extract(<curitem>, , "a b.txt"); // FAIL WITH RAR/7z OK WITH ZIPFLDR
 zip_extract(<curitem>, , """a b.txt"""); // OK WITH RAR/7z FAIL WITH ZIPFLDR
 zip_extract(<curitem>, , "a b.txt|c d.txt"); // OK WITH BOTH
spaces.rar
