:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Expand in tree does not work

Post by Paperboy »

I just want to let you know that Startup & Exit -> Expand in tree option no longer works in XYplorer 23.30.0200 when Lock Tree is enabled and XYplorer is restarted.

If Lock Tree is enabled then it will not expand. It's locked.

No, that is where you are mistaken. This is a bug which you either deliberately or by accident introduced in XYplorer v23.30 because before it actually used to start with the C: or D: drive etc expanded WITH the Lock Tree option enabled as it should be AND THEN the tree is locked. That is, at least in my opinion, the proper way. Unfortunately, Xyplorer no longer saves this option when exiting when it should save it. Yes, how it was before (v23.20 and older) was correct. Please, if possible, put it back to how it was.

Thank you.
