Colored lines without indentation

Post by John_C »

Currently, if you use colored lines to mark files that you are going to copy or cut, XY also indents these files.

This makes such a file look like it is a "child" of a file above.

Are you sure dogs are a subset of cats? Just kidding, but I hope you understand what I mean.

The idea is to add an additional check box to keep colored lines but not add indentation.

Code: Select all

Clipboard Markers
[ ] Dimmed Icons
[x] Colored lines
    [x] Don't indent
Or maybe even "move" the indentation to the additional option. That is, this will be

Code: Select all

Clipboard Markers
[ ] Dimmed Icons
[x] Colored lines (this will add colored lines but not indentation)
    [ ] Indent

The lines need some space. Would look ugly without it.

PS: Well, I see your point, played with it a little, and could make it work. So I added a tweak for now:

Code: Select all

+ Configuration | Colors and Styles | Styles | Clipboard Markers | Colored lines:
Added a tweak to customize the items indent, e.g. set it to zero (no indent):
        ClipboardMarkersIndent=0
The factory default is 7 (pixels). Allowed range is 0 to 16.
