:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

XY Reset Itself?

Post by dogeatdog »

The strangest thing just happened, I logged off then back on after uninstalling a program and i clicked the XY shortcut and it was in day 1 demo mode with completely factory defaults. my custom layout etc all gone. i go to the data folder and the modified date was minutes ago for things like XY.ini, fvs, ks, tag, udc & action. whats interesting is my scripts, icons, paper, panes, catalog - all untouched, it has my data in it. has anyone else experienced this? i have frequent backups so i just restored the files, but i preserved the old one in case anyone wants log files or something.
