1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Hoverbox/preview pane for image files suddenly stopped working

Post by mauricevsteensel »

Using version 23.00 on Windows 11. Image preview worked fine, except for TIFF. Today it all stopped working (before I updated to version 23.00). No idea what is going on, the required boxes in configuration are all checked. Perhaps related, preview/thumbnails in Windows File Explorer don't work either. So probably a systemic issue. Any tips/suggestions would be welcome. I rely on preview a lot in my workflows.

Think I fixed it - restored default view settings for Windows File Explorer, and selected for "Adjust for best appearance" in Visual Effects tab of the Performance settings in System properties.
