1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Was there any change in the latest releases that broke the custom caption syntax in user button menus?

Post by cadu »

Hi. I'd appreciate your help.

After updating from v22.8 to v23 my user button custom menu commands don't work anymore.
When I click on the user button the usual pop-up list of commands appears, however when I click on a command nothing happens.
Actually, I noticed it is related to the custom captions, because when I remove them the command starts working.

It worked before upgrade:

Code: Select all

Configuration;#600;:conf
But now it works only when I remove the custom caption "Configuration"

Code: Select all

#600;:conf
I've attached a screenshot of my menus structure/syntaxes used for custom captions.

Was there any change in the latest releases that broke the custom caption syntax in user button menus?
Any tip about how to fix it?

Thank you!

It will work again in the next beta.

But you work too much. This is enough, you don't have to add caption and icon:
:conf
