Hidden tab bar - No switch tabs events are firing

If the tab bar is hidden and you create a new tab, the "Switch tabs" custom event action is not triggered

Ofc it's debatable if this is by design or a bug but if this is intended please add a tweak to allow this kind of behavior

It seems like the "Switch tabs" custom event action is never triggered when you create a new tab, regardless of the tab bar visibility.

Uh, yeah, seems so.

Maybe we need an event for "Tab created" (in that case it wouldn't matter if it's a tab you're directly switching to or a background tab).
"Tab destroyed" would probably a good companion in that case

Maybe. Currently I'm not adding new events. The CEA feature didn't get much echo on the street.

Can you then add least add the trigger for "switch tabs" when a new tab is created ((at least) for non-backgrounded tabs)?

Otherwise e.g. this: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6170
stays impossible...
