1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

copy/move file with same name plus suffix as a folder fails

Post by highstream »

22/60/0200, Win 10. Lately, I've noticed that when I copy/paste or delete/paste a file from folder that has the same name as the file, except that the file has a suffix, e.g., .srt, the paste fails. Example: folder = Now; file in folder = Now.srt; goal is to move file to top level, but get failure message. This didn't used to happen, as I've made this move hundreds of times in XYplorer. Setting, bug or ...?

Cannot reproduce. Can you show the error message?
