full row select as default

Post by bobbilly »

Is there a way to default tab view to "Full Row Select" on selection of a folder or file? "Full Row Select" is on and stays on. If I select "Full Row Select" through Tools/Customize List it will only work with the current list shown in the active tab.

I have that ticked. The Tools/Customize List "Full Row Select" is forgotten as soon as I navigate away from the current list showing in the tab. I have tried saving the configuration after ticking "Full Row Select" but that doesn't work either. Full Row Select in the tree and catalog does work.

And you haven't defined a default folder view: "View - Folder View Settings - Manage Folder Views" is grayed out?

Not greyed out as I had set a default view but in working on various views did not realize that I had saved another view that was default that did not carry the views I wanted.

I set the default view for C:\ with desired views and all is good now.

Thanx for the help.
