Detect Portable Devices doesn't detect Ejection

Post by Evolve »

Code: Select all

Configuration | General | Refresh, Icons, History | Detect portable devices
It detects if I pull the USB stick out physically, but when I eject it through the context menu, then I have to press F5.

A USB stick is not the typical portable device but rather a removable drive. Does it have a drive letter? And what is not refreshed: Tree, List?

Maybe this should be ticked: Configuration | General | Refresh, Icons, History | Auto-Refresh | Include removable drives

List is not refreshing
USB stick gets a letter automatically when attached
Include removable drives is ticked

Please take another look. Something is not quite right. Sometimes it disappears as it should but sometimes it does not and sometimes it goes even weirder transforming like this:

Okay. Next year I will totally revise the refresh machine anyway. So I will undo that quick fix for now and do it right later.
