curitemprev variable updating

Within the last week-ish I have noticed a recent change in behavior, what is happening is that the curitemprev variable is getting updated at times when it didn't previously which in turn gives a bogus return, I have managed to find a way to trigger it, and make a repro script, just goto a folder with at least 2 dummy test files and run it, unexpectedly the returned filenames will match:

  sel 1;
  timestamp;
  text "CI: <curitem><crlf 2>CP: <curitemprev>";

If you remove the timestamp line the filenames won't match, which is the expected behavior, and how it has worked up until recently.

I also have a slightly related wish since on a close subject, would it be possible to add "drive" as an avail param for get('curitem') without too much hassle?
