:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Catalog and network drive

Post by Daniel0312 »

Hi,
In catalog I have a category with a few "shortcuts" to executables on a mapped drive.
When the category is "expanded" when exiting XY, at XY startup the shortcuts show generic icons. Sending #502 refresh them.
If it's "collapsed" then opening it shows the icons.
Again, I hope it's not some option I missed !

That was done for performance reasons. Network icons are sometimes very slow.

But you are right, the user should have a choice. I will bind it to Configuration | General | Startup & Exit | No network browsing on startup in next beta. If that is not ticked then you will see your icons right away.
