:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Autosize Size column not working

Post by Avraham95 »

This feature just doesn't seem to be working for me.

From what I understand, with this feature turned on, the Size column should always be just wide enough to show me the full size of my documents without any "..." truncation.

Am I missing something?

Give a little more context. How did you end up with this situation?

I updated to the latest build about two weeks ago and read the patch notes detailing the new Autosize Size column feature. I opened the settings menu and checked the box to turn on the feature. I also turned on the Autofit Name column width feature (see image below). The name width feature seems to be working but I will constantly open a folder and see "..." in the Size column because it's not resizing to show the full sizes.

Any advice on how I might remedy this issue?

I have also had this issue. It comes and goes. Sometimes my columns are far too long, as well.

As long as I cannot reproduce the issue I cannot do anything. :|
