Icons dimmed when selected

Hello,
I recently upgraded from v21.20 to v22.30.
Now icons get dimmed when they are selected.
I find that distracting as a dimmed icon signals "cut" to me.
I cannot for the world find a setting to change this nor a clue on the Whats New page. So I reckon it's a bug.

Thanks for the reply. I see I've explained it wrong.

In the new version the icon is no longer dimmed but faded exactly as if it was cut.

I gradually upgraded my install and the change appears with v21.80

So this is unticked and you are really talking about item selection and NOT copying or cutting?

no, the setting is not unticked in either of the images.
I am sorry I expressed myself wrongly. It is not the dimming but the fading that's bothering me.
In both images the items are selected, not cut.

I want it ticked.

Image one: as it used to be, setting is ticked, item is selected and looks selected
Image two: as it is starting with v21.80, setting is ticked, item is selected but it looks cut.


I'll stay with 21.70

I don't see a difference between these three versions regarding the selected item (the second one is cut)...

The first of my pictures is 21.70, the second 21.80.
They look different.
To me the new look is annoying. But as I said I'll stay with 21.70. Thank you for your very kind help.

Well, you are right. The dimming is wrong. The next beta will fix it.
