:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

directory name invalid

Post by JConnon »

I have an Android Phone (Razor 5G). When I connect it to my win10 PC and try to open a picture from the DCIM\Camera directory XYplorer will show all jpg files and even their properties but will not open the file. I receive a popup message saying "The directory name is invalid."

How do I resolve this?

Well, opening files on portable devices is not supported (see Help: Portable Devices). It might work in some cases but in not others.

On a positive note, I can copy the files from my Pocophone F1 (Android) and then open them.
So not quite so convenient, but a reasonable work-around.

Can this feature be added to XYplorer?
