I tried msg>{37742665-fa1f-4da6-9c29-59fdfba13fd7}>64 here and I don't get that error message. Just a "Cannot preview" in XY.

Where can I download this {37742665-fa1f-4da6-9c29-59fdfba13fd7} thing?

Just tried the beta, 22.20.0201. This worked just fine for me.

Unchecked everything in the 64 bit Windows area concerning preview handlers:

This is my .msg setup, complete with the new 64 bit tag:

Note too that If I check "Use 64 bit preview handlers for preview" and "Fall back to preview handlers of the other bitness" everything else works fine for me too - but of course YMMV. Being able to set the 64/32 per entry is nice!

As noted in the release notes these new 64/32 per entry settings override those checkboxes, so it's not wonder it works regardless what you check there.

Great it works now for you! Took some time but finally we're there. :)

Now somebody explain to me why a 64-bit preview handler works in a 32-bit process but not in a 64-bit process. :eh:

BTW, just noted that this {37742665-fa1f-4da6-9c29-59fdfba13fd7} handler registers itself in a way that you don't need to define it as a User-defined Preview Handlers. It just works by itself (hardcoded to be used within the 32-bit XYplorer process).

That was my case before you changed something a few versions ago.

Yes, this gives me the following screen in place of the preview
Screenshot - 09.09.2021 , 21_46_19.png
I have to press Preview now to get the preview.
If I add it as User defined preview handler it works direct.
