The necessary combination is Dropbox path + PDF file selected + Bringing XY to the foreground... how weird can it become? And you are the only one reporting it. Tricky!

READ THIS AND DO IT!!!
Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).
We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.
When attaching an Image, please use the Attachment tab at the bottom of your post and click "Add files".

Re: Division by zero (pList@21)
I'm out of ideas at the moment. I'm quite sure it is not a true "Division by zero" error but some other error that confuses the error management.
The necessary combination is Dropbox path + PDF file selected + Bringing XY to the foreground... how weird can it become? And you are the only one reporting it. Tricky!

Re: Division by zero (pList@21)
I am happy to try any other tips that might gather more information.
In the meantime I'll keep an eye on it and see if I spot any other situations that cause it.

Re: Division by zero (pList@21)
I just saw the error window pop up – previously I could not tell how long the error window was already there because the other windows could have been concealing it.
I had my web browser (Firefox) in the foreground, and I minimized it, which made XYplorer the active window. A fraction of a second after Firefox was minimized, I saw the error window appear.
So it does seem to be linked to XYplorer becoming the active window.

Re: Division by zero (pList@21)
I just got another variation of the error – see attached screenshot.
XYplorer crashed after this and I had to restart it. The following events were logged in the Windows Application Event Log.

Re: Division by zero (pList@21)
And that happened again when you put the XYplorer into the foreground and a file was selected?
I wonder why nobody else reports this. What is so special about your system?

Re: Division by zero (pList@21)
1) Does the window go from background to foreground, or from minimized to normal state?
2) You are not showing any tree?

Re: Division by zero (pList@21)
Yes, background to foreground... as I wrote previously it is when I switch from another active window to XYplorer.
Also, correct that I am not showing the tree -- only the catalog.

Re: Division by zero (pList@21)
Just letting you know that I have upgraded my PC, and since then this error has not occurred. It is a new installation of Windows, with completely different hardware + drivers.
It has been a month since the upgrade.
