Maybe problem with “Autofit the Name Column”

Post by sephiroth »

There is a new feature in version 22.20 "Autofit the Name Column". I like it and have a try, but I found a littlle problem(maybe) with this feature.
When I check the "Autofit the Name Column" and there too many files in list view, there is a horizontal roller at the botton. You can see the picture. Usually there is no horizontal roller.
Will you fix it? Set the width a little shorter.

Weird, I cannot reproduce this. :? And, by the way, these are not "many" files.

1. Which font are you using in the list?
2. What is your screen resolution?

In case it helps, I am having the same problem. Font size 9pt, screen resolution 5120×2880. I also have the Type column enabled but it is only showing Latin characters.

Do you see the issue as well in a fresh installation?
Does it disappear when you resize the list?

1.fonts
Main Contents, Buttons and lables: Tahoma 9.08
Toolbar: Segoe UI 8.47

2.resolution
PC1 4K and DPI Scale 100%
PC2 1080P and DPI Scale 124%
same problem

My OS Windows 10 Simple Chinese

And I uninstall xyplorer and delete all configurations, then reinstall. There is no problem.

I'm still having this issue on 22.20.0100.

I think it has something to do with folder sizes for me. I turned that option off and this behavior stopped.

You mean with showing folder sizes in the Size column? Do you have a screenshot of the problem?

It doesn't always happen when folder sizes are shown, but it only happens when folder sizes are shown.
