List view: file opens when files above are moved and...

Probably a "stupid" question. When I select files from a list and move them to another folder, the file immediately below the ones that were moved receive the focus and automatically opens as if it were clicked.

Is this a bug or a feature?

Additionally, I would like to turn off the feature that opens a file when clicked in the List view. I have a habit of clicking files in the list view to select them for copy/del/move, etc. which results in unintended opening o f the files. I have read Help, and looked at all the options in configuration and did not find a way to deactive one-click open of files in the List View.

Hmm, if this would be a feature, XYplorer would probably not be a successful file manager... ... but is it a bug? I certainly cannot reproduce what you describe.

This behavior almost sounds like how Win Expl can be set to do via Tools>Folder Opts>General: Click items....but that doesn't apply to XY, right?

Addendum: When saying that a click opens the files, I'm presuming that original poster isn't referring to the "open" that occurs in Info Panel to preview file...

Again I can assure you: there is no one-click open in XYplorer!

But there is! It's right there in the catalog Open Item option.

On a serious note I can't reproduce this either.

I uninstalled, then reinstalled, and all is well......
