search location

Is it possible to enter a standard search location when searching. At the moment I have to select the location every time I reopen xyplorer. I always look in the same place and would like to save myself this selection every time.

Deselect [x] Auto sync, insert your search path in "Location:", save settings, done...

I tried Unfortunately, it does not work permanently.
After a restart the field is unfortunately always empty.

Do you have this enabled then:

Configuration | General | Startup & Exit | Save Settings | Include most-recently-used lists on save

[ Apply to...] == Find Files Patterns and Locations

Also make sure you run a search in the location before restarting, and that "Selected Locations" is also unchecked.

The search term remains saved.
But unfortunately the search location is not.
I always have to select this from the last ones used.
The field is white. I despair
