XYplorer Beta Club
Hello, with v.21.40.0100 (and beta), I cannot anymore drag and drop files from browser or Win Explorer to XYplorer. I have the forbidden icon showing. It’s something I do every day so I’m quite surprised - I did not touch options except the new Custom Event Action feature (great by the way).
Update : it works again. Quite strange.

2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

I guess it was one of those Windows hick-ups. A reboot often helps.

Help! Several reboots did nothing for me. I do have 'standard shell drag and drop' enabled in shell integration, also custom copy for all copy and move for all, is there anything else I should check off or try? It is driving me nuts... I am using the latest XY, Win 10/64bit updated several reboots ago ...admin wrote: ↑2021 Jan 04 04:37

Do you mean that XY should or should not be running elevated?
I am afraid that I tried it both ways, to no avail. But maybe I should reboot in between? Pls let me know.

If XY is started elevated than the application you want to drag from (e.g. your browser) must be started elevated, too.

Do you see such a box when you drag an url from your browser on the next drag?
If not, how does the cursor look like once you are in the XY window?

Man, I just hate Windoze 10
It is not elevated. Used to drag into XY started as admin with no troubles, as long as the other application (mostly pix from iMatch DEM) was also started as administrator. This time - I can' even drag into XY from the win10 file explorer ...If XY is started elevated than the application you want to drag from (e.g. your browser) must be started elevated, too.
