:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Status bar description for context menu sub-menu items MIA

Post by TheQwerty »

Using Win XP SP2 and XY 6.70.0011.

Right click on a file to display the context menu.

Hovering over the menu items in the root menu displays a short description (if it exists) in the status bar.

Going a level deeper by entering a submenu of the context menu however breaks this functionality (unless it's an XY submenu) and nothing is shown in the status bar.

I'd blame the programs that have these submenus (WinRAR, WinZip, TortoiseSVN) but it also happens with the Windows "Open With..." submenu. Plus it works correctly in Windows Explorer.

Can someone confirm?
