Why isn't 'Copy Here' ("Copy of...") in context?

Why isn't 'Copy Here' ("Copy of...") in context?
One of the most common things that I do is make a copy of a file (clone it ) via file manager instead of creating a new one via desired appl...In WinExpl, I typically just do a Cntl+C/Cntl+V combo...ok, so in XY, I can use the File menu and 'Copy Here" to do it...but am I overlooking the obvious, or isn't there a way to do so via context menus from the list instead? No CKS or anything keyboardy, just mouse/touchpad, ok?
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!

Cntl+C/Cntl+V works in XY too.
"Copy Here" is the first item of the DragDrop context menu.

Of course Copy/Paste works in XY, but that adds an unneeded entry to my clipboard list...plus it's keyboard oriented.
And to get DragnDrop context menu requires that user do more action than just have file selected and then do right-click, true? As I see it, I have to hold right-click, and move pointer somewhat to cause a D&D menu, which is part of reason I don't do many D&D's as holding right-click and then also moving on touchpad is a bit more difficult for my thumb/finger to position to.

Hadn't really considered that, but just tried it to see how it may work for me...two minor issues:admin wrote:And why not Ctrl+D?
1) Uses KS which I don't use many of, as I have trouble keeping mental track of which is which for various app's...getting old is a pain!
2) Not as easy to find/spot the copy in list as "Copy of" does by being quite unique.
Am I being a bit of a pain? Maybe...

How about a variant of the D&D context menu in a sub-menu to the list name context menu? Since the only XY entries are the three "To Clipboard;Rename Special;Move/Copy/Backup" (right?) and having one more wouldn't seem that burdensome on other users...
There are a couple of D&D menu items that wouldn't seem to apply so that's why I said a variant...and this would give more options than just the one I use mostly...
At some point, I seem to recall that user defined context menus may be a future possibility, which would also seem to handle this issue, but for now, having the ability to quickly access the other neat XY copy options without having to "fake" a D&D or jump all the way over to File menu seems to be a worthwhile minor enhancement.

Revising this thread because I had to do a few of these in last day or so and the lack of a convenient context menu access reminded me that I'd mentioned this before...so...now that XY has changed somewhat since Nov, I'm still hoping for a quick mouse based solution after the initial right-click/key for context menu...

Rephrasing what I'd stated above, I rarely use DND...it's just a habit I never acquired...and the Cntl-Drag requires the use of two hands (at least it does for me) plus it just seems to be more effort as I have to hold Cntl while using touchpad and holding mouse key, while adding this option to the "Copy To" context submenu would only add one line to that menu, and I'd thus be able to just right-click and then use touchpad alone to finish the move, which seems much easier on my fingers, plus there's nothing to remember!ogroeger wrote:Hm, i wonder why you don't you use Ctrl-Drag (DND with pushed Ctrl key and left mouse key)?
