Play/Enqueue in winamp

Hi guys,

Something annoying is going on my computer and I was wondering if it is happening to anyone else (misery loves company )

When I choose "Play in Winamp" or "Enqueue in Winamp" from the context menu for a .WAV or .MP3 file, the taskbar button for Winamp (which is running) flashes like it wants focus. At the same time XY freezes for a few seconds (the title bar says it is "Not Responding"). After the few seconds (maybe 10 or so), XY is back and winamp shows the file.

When I try the same thing on the same files in Windows Explorer, the Winamp taskbar button does not flash and the file appears in Winamp's window instantly (ie no pause that I can detect).

I am using the latest version of Winamp 5.51 full (not Pro or bundle).

I am also using ZoneAlarm Pro 7.1.218.000 beta. I have tried turning ZA off but this makes no difference.

Ideas anyone?

Using WinAmp 5.04 I don't have these problems.

Strange.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled Winamp 5.50 and then upgraded to 5.51 and now all is ok. Weird.
