... and the Vivaldi Browser Screen Capture is quite unique too... The speciality there is, that a whole page from top to bottom can be captured... As well with the Vivaldi Android App... Not sure, but I might never have seen that before.. However, it's a great tool .... :ugeek:
Using XY since around five years. Its quite an obsessive and addictive application. Five years but still the explorer surprises me time and again with its incredible variety of features and usage options.

yep, faststone is in every way a great piece of software... I thought XY would eventually make the use of faststone needless but no, I can't drop it. It's just another experience and very convenient in every single way to view and also reorganise images there.... :appl:

I use Screenshot Captor from DonationCoder.com at home. Can be run in portable mode. Works fine and interfaces with my scanner.

At work I use SnagIt.

If you need a program for fast PrintScreen, I use Lightroom. It is possible to choose any area can be something to draw or write. It's pretty quick. I use Geforce experience to shoot videos/

Looking for a tool that can correctly capture the rounded corners in Win11, with anti-aliased semi-transparency the way it should be.

That's the one I'm using since 10+ years, but it doesn't do the corners right. :\

I'd say: Make a request ;)
I'm using this one since many years as well (under Windows) and I wouldn't trade it in for any other screenshot util...

Or wait for Windows 12, corners will be back to square. :titter:

This one supports rounded corners: https://www.ntwind.com/software/winsnap.html
It easily captures windows with rounded corners and transparent backgrounds from Aero Glass on Windows 7 to Mica Material on Windows 11.

Yes, that's why I mentioned it. Although there should be free alternatives, which also support rounded corners.

EDIT: Like ShareX (didn't try it) https://github.com/ShareX/ShareX/issues/5667

I've been using PicPick for years but don't know if it does what you want.
See attached result of a properties window in win 11.
When I place it inline here, the rounded corners don't look good anymore, so I assume it's not doing it right either.

Tested WinSnap and it's better than Faststone, but not good enough. The corner is rough and pixelated. Compare the real corner and the WinSnap shot (the lines are a watermark because it's in trial mode) at zoom 8:

I wonder why these outputs differ at all. I thought a screenshot is "just" a dump of already rendered pixels in VRAM.
