White thumbs??

Post by serendipity »

Hi all,
I recently installed XP SP2 on my old PC and ofcourse installed XYplorer too and my image thumbs appear white (see screenshot). those same images (.jpg) appear normal in explorer's thumbview. However, when i switch off super-fast thumbs and refresh thumbs cache then i see the thumbs back again. Is it a problem with GDI+? i tried everything from manually installing GDI+ and repairing my XP install but i still see those white thumbs only in XY. BTW, even though i see white thumbs i can click hold mouse to see blown-up image. Any ideas? :?

PS: same config on my laptop works fine, so it definitely my PC. any help or hint would be great.

 , you are right. i am sorry, but that checkbox gave me an impression of another check option in preview tab "shrink larger originals to fit window".

You can preview PNGs on the preview tab? You can thumb them when super-fast is off? But you cannot super-fast-thumb them? Yes, looks like a problem with your GDI+.
