Dragging onto catalog item leaves the cursor in wrong"s

If I drag a text file from my desktop (or from anywhere external of XY) onto an item in the catalog (a text editor), the icon in XY "sticks" as the default cursor with the little black and white arrow. Dragging n file from within XY onto a catalog item will set the icon back to normal.

The catalog item's advanced properties are:
Action on click: Open Item
Single instance
Justin
