XYplorer does not display folders with a specific name

Post by Gido »

Hello!
(and I apologize for the Google translator)

Once I decided to sort my collection of books and ran into this problem. We are talking about the fact that the XYplorer does not show a folder whose name consists of a single letter of the Cyrillic alphabet "Ю" (Unicode - 1070), namely uppercase, "ю" handles normally.

How to reproduce a bug:

1. Create a folder by giving the name "Ю". Now the XYplorer displays it.
2. Go to this or any other folder.
3. Go back - and she disappeared. But another file manager shows that it is in place.

Hi and welcome!

Was hard to believe, but I can confirm that.

Don, it exists and is visible in the tree, but not in the list!

WOW.

This bug is as old as XYplorer. Great find! Fix comes.

PS: There were more ghost characters, and including all 2-letter combinations of them, for example:
Ю
ЮЮ
خ

मЮ

and many more...

PS2: And stuff like this as well:
.愀
.愀abc

and so on...

And it concerns files and folders, list and maxi tree.
