BTW, Visual Filters (quite similar thing to those Ghost Filters) also are case-insensitive.

i never used VF to "hide" something, only to "get what i need in front".
btw, Ghost Filters should be the name of this hiding-feature!

Yep, I like Ghost Filters a lot. But it's hard to use the term in the GUI in a consistent way. Check next beta and let's have some ideas how to get "Ghost Filters" into it...

I could also envision any combination wtih "Stealth" in it. To indicate it's something less visible, less GUI, less openly exposed.

"Ghost hidden folders" is an option already taken up by other programs, but in an almost opposite way, to actually see the hidden stuff, in a ghosted way, I.e. dimmed, faded.
