can't drag and drop file from xyplorer to some applications

I can't drag and drop file to some applications , such as "Xmedia Recode" , Editplus , and some others. it is no such issue from the OS stock file explorer.
my PC is windows 64-bit, may it be the probable cause ? how to ?

It's a Windows bug

The coders of the applications (EditPlus, etc.) need to workaround this...

Drag and drop to their 32bit versions works fine

For things like this, I'll often make a custom file association and include, usually, the folder involved and open the program with that folder in the clipboard, then paste that in the program's open files dialogue box. It's a little inelegant, but it's handy.
