My other request is when trying to access a remote UNC share (or server) on a network (i.e. \\server1\c$) that requires a login, XYplorer simply displays a prompt "Couldn't find location: \\server1\c$". Windows Explorer throws up the login prompt when navigating to the same share. Reading through the bugs forum I noticed you guys are working on this but I figured I would throw this in here and this is the only item that really causes me pain right now as I have to access many network servers across multiple domains on a day-to-day basis.

There's hope! I finally, with the help of Alex, found the (weirdly hidden) API that pops up the logon dialog if necessary. This is what I'm working on right now... just in case some of the more serious versionitis patients out there were wondering what I'm doing...

I would like to add a variation to this request. I would like to see the close X on the tab, but only when you mouse over the tab.
it would display on any tab that you drag the mouse over. Some of your competition, which I tried before I found XY, does this and I like it.
Of course, it should be a configuration option for those who hate the red X.

But I have no objection to giving others the option to have that annoying X.
