One of the best things about XYplorer is its file tagging flexibility, but it seems to forget that after going through all the work of tagging your personal files, you eventually want to access them on your mobile devices and no developer seems to have a solution that lets you access the video library stored on your desktop, with the same (not similar) flexibility of configuring a gallery view, local subnet access only, and zero third-party involvement.
There needs to be a simple solution to accomplish the following with a file manager:
Open video file and save preferred thumbnail.
MPC-HC lets you do this easily file>save thumbnail. MediaMonkey, right click video>save thumbnail.
Basic Privacy
There should be an easy way to flag a folder as protected from windows indexing, caching, etc. Apps should be denied access by default with a whitelist that gives you control.
Mobile Access
How about the option to cache only the file properties and thumbnails, then download or stream on demand, schedule if network is currently not accessible. Locally stored files allow other apps to directly work with the files, which can be dependent on a white list. Files should have the same filtering and sorting abilities as desktop version.
I understand that development requires time and money, but making it easy for mobile app developers to create compatible add-ins, extensions, etc. for their existing apps could make XYplorer the only real option available for everyone. In fact, there's already an open source (I think) android app with a similar name to yours, X-Plore File Manager.

The XYplorer tags database (tag.dat) has an open simple text format so app developers could easily use that file.
