:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Incorrect suffix on folder name collision

Post by xyuser123 »

Hi,

When there is a folder name collision involving a folder with a dot in its name and the user chooses the suffix option, XY places the suffix in the wrong location. For example, if I try to create a folder named "1.2.3", but a folder with that name already exists, the new folder name after adding the suffix is "1.2-01.3" instead of the expected "1.2.3-01".

XY versions tested: 20.10.0000 and 20.10.0018.

Thanks.

You are talking about this dialog, right? Yes, that's a bug. Good find!

Yes, that's the one. I've tried the latest beta and it seems to be fixed. Thanks!
