Catalog Item Properties: Destination

Post by admin »

I just had the thought that "Target" would be a better, more commonly used term for what's now called "Destination". Correct? The Catalog is a structured collection of links to folders and files, and "Target" is standard link terminology...

Ok, maybe...whatever...target, however, implies more to me that one is going to put something there or do something with it compared with just going there...and...it's called destination in the GoTo command, so then is that wrong also? Nah...let's just leave it alone, IMO.
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

What I have in mind is that it is not just locations to go to, but also applications to run! Especially with the new parameters power and soon probably UDC + scripting, "destination" is just a bit misleading, or?

hm... what about using the appropriate term depending on the "Action on Click" ? Just in in UDC, it would read "Location", "Application", etc accordingly ?
