:info: Please include the following information:
1) Your XYplorer Version (e.g., v28.00.0801)
2) Your Windows Version (e.g., Win 11)
3) Your Screen Scaling Percentage (e.g., 125%).

:info: We strongly recommend adding your Windows Version and Screen Scaling Percentage to the Location field in your Profile or to your Signature. That way, you only have to type them once, and we won't have to search for that vital information.

Dropping URL from Vivaldi crashes XY

Post by Papoulka »

XY v19.80.0107; Vivaldi browser build 2.3.1440.61 (latest stable); Windows 10 Pro x64 all updates.

In a ::fresh instance of XY v19.80.0107, if I try to drag a URL link from the Vivaldi address bar into an XY list pane, XY crashes. This doesn't happen with Chrome, and doesn't happen with XY v19.80 non-beta full release.

Note that Vivaldi has for months had the issue that such a dragged URL will appear in XY as ".url" and must be manually named. That doesn't happen with a Vivaldi URL dragged into Windows Explorer. So Vivaldi does have some XY compatibility issues; but until this time it hasn't led to a crash.

Confirmed. Both should be fixed in next beta.
