Initial location not remembered in History
When I open a new XYplorer window for any location, it does not store that location in History. Basically what happens is this...
1) I open a new XYplorer window (at this point, the 'Back' feature is disabled because I haven't navigated anywhere yet).
2) I then navigate to another location within that same window.
3) I click 'Back'.
4) Instead of going back to the previous location where I started, it will open a location I had visited in a previous session.

What shows the command View | Tab | Tab History...?

Re: Initial location not remembered in History
[bump]
Can anything be done about this? Here's another example of what happens (and this just happened):
• I open an XYplorer to a specific location.
• I double click to enter one of the subfolders.
• I press back to return to the parent folder.
• Instead of returning me to the parent folder, it takes me to a completely different folder from a previous XYplorer session.
This is incredibly annoying.

1) Are you maybe working with locked tabs?
2) What's your setting here: Configuration | General | Refresh, Icons, History | History | History per tab

Re: Initial location not remembered in History
All of the items under History are checked. Should they not be? (EDIT: I also tried unchecking all of those items and the problem still exists)

Does this happen on the one and the same tab?

Re: Initial location not remembered in History
This problem didn't always exist for me. I had updated not too long ago and that's when it started happening. Since I can't seem to find a fix, I decided to try older versions.
It seems that version 18.4 is the most recent version that I can use that does not exhibit this problem.

So it's clear to me that something happened after 18.40.0100 that introduced this bug.

Check if this is ticked:
Configuration | General | Startup & Exit | Save Settings | Include most-recently-used lists on save
... and if Tabs is ticked under the Apply To... button.

Re: Initial location not remembered in History
I remember messing with that setting as well with no success. I'm just using the older version which I'm currently fine with. If the issue is fixed in a future version I may update then.

Erm, this is not an issue to be fixed, it's a setting to be changed. Your setting.

Re: Initial location not remembered in History
Thanks for the help.
I just updated to version 20, and I also checked that list (all items are ticked) and the issue no longer occurs.
