HI,
I'm happy with editing the Configuration File and tweaking the [NewTemplates] section to create new Folders and Text files, when right clicking a choosing the 'New' Menu
Just wondered if we can also create other new files of different types.
I'd like to create a file with todays date that has a .docx extension, so it opens in Microsoft Word.
Can this be done?
Also are there any other variables that we can use in the file name apart from date variables.
Is this documented anyhwere please?

The "New Items Menu" docs are in the .chm file and it describes how files with the current date can be created...

That section is for folders and txt files, nothing else (viewtopic.php?p=132777#p132777 shows
a way to abuse it for different extensions but it seems this does not work as of today)
Use the "New items" context menu entry for any other file types to create (including ones with the current date)
