Hello
Is it possible to change the pane/list view to show different columns depending on what files are in the list view? For example, I want to show MP3 ratings column when switching to a folder with MP3 files in it.
Change pane/list view on content type?

Folder View Settings would be an option, but ofc they need to be setup per folder (they can be recursive, though).
By "detecting" which item types are inside a folder? That could be done by scripting and _manually_ executing such a script,
once such a folder is displayed (e.g. via a button, catalog entry, keyboard shortcut, etc.)...

I want to apply a folder view so that ratings column is included when browsing this folder and sub folders.
I added a custom column called ratings and applied it to the folder \\SERVER\Music. However, when I browse to this folder the column ratings does not appear.

And you saved the folder view after adding that custom column?

Yes, I saved it.
Steps:
Browse to \\SERVER\Music
Right click columns and add Custom: Ratings
Click Folder View Settings - Save Folder View
I just cant get the column view to apply when browsing the network share. I tried on a C:\Music and the same happens.
