disable path in branch view...

1)Even after i disable the path in branch view it keeps showing the path again and again,how to disable it permanently?

2)Also how to remove the light blue color for this view?

1. I'm also interested to know if this is possible.
2. Change the color defined here: Configuration → Colors and Styles → Colors → List → Find → Background:

Add the Branch View button to toolbar. Right click on that button, and disable "branch view inherits current columns".
Then open a branch view, and hide the Path column.
Do the same for the other pane.
