Is there an embedded text editor in XYplorer?

I think it would be cool if the preview panel could serve as a text editor... Of course I realize that this is not the purpose of the preview panel. And that it would open a few other cans of worms. Still... It would be nice.

I think the Quick File View is an appropriate place for simple editing and search of individual text files. I wish that could be implemented.

Note: The script from @highend, above (viewtopic.php?t=16754#p144316) works perfectly.

Just add it to a custom button in the toolbar, and when you select a text file, then click the button, the contents of the text file appear in an edit box, where you can edit it, then when you close the edit box the file is updated.
