Extend lasso selection by one hand

Clicking on the Line number is a very comfortable and easy way to add or remove a file to or from a selection. Only the one handed lasso selection add and remove is not solved yet, we have to use CTRL. I can imagine that if I start the lasso from the Line number column it would mean add or remove the selection to the existing selecton. As if I hold CTRL down. It would be the same comfortable way as the Line number selection.

I miss this feature literally every day. I have to select groups of files from specific folders a lot. I dream about a day when a lasso selection sarted from the line number column could be added to the already existing selection.
The line number selection was a great idea, it also helps a lot in my workflow.
