Here is the difference between Windows Explorer and XYplorer:
Windows Explorer:
XYplorer, window with the same width:
As you see, XYplorer trying to give A LOT of space for filenames. Personally, I would prefer slightly shrink this space, i.e. it should be the same width as in Windows Explorer:
I already tried to find this setting manually in XYplorer.ini file, but haven't found. Is there way to change it?

And you already used "Shrink Name Column" from the columns caption context menu?...

Hm, it works! I use version 19.10, in which you haven't columns header in "Small Icons" view. However, it still works via shortcut: Ctrl-Shift-Minus / Ctrl-Shift-Plus. (Minus and Plus should be pressed on Numpad).highend wrote:And you already used "Shrink Name Column" from the columns caption context menu?...
Alternatively, the user could switch to "Details" view, adjust "Name" column width using the mouse and then switch back to "Small Icons" view.
Thanks :)
