How to disable tabs & general winXP look

I'm trying to get a explorer look as close to winXP as possible, for that i would like to disable the tabs,
how can I do that?

Also I would like the status bar to extend beneath the Folder tree is that possible?

Yes I can, the Menu - Menu has an option to disable tabs
